At some point or another there is usually someone we want to try to find and get in touch with.  It could be because we come across an old item or piece of mail that we want to get to them or it could be that we just want to touch base.

There are numerous websites that you can use to find someone by street address and a couple of variations to get you close to the information you need.  Some sites cost money and some sites are free.

One site that you can go on is 411.com or whitepages.com.  Both of these sites have features to help you find someone by street address or even by the street and town if you don’t have the house number.  Sometimes the site can fill in the blanks for you by narrowing things down. 

This is how it works.  Let’s say you are looking for Jane Brown on State Street in Minneapolis.  You have very little other information.  You can put the information into the search engine and the search engine will bring up every Jane Brown on State Street in Minneapolis.  Even if you received 10 names, it would be just a matter of making some phone calls to see if any of them was the right Jane Brown.  It could be the first one you call, the last one you call, or any Jane Brown in between, or you might not find the right one however the success rate is usually pretty good.

There are other sites that may have some fees.  If you use one of those sites, be certain of what the fees are before you use the site.  Some people have experienced some credit card bills that they weren’t too happy about from sites that had some fine print.

It is not too difficult to try to find someone with the advancement of technology.  Even people who don’t want to be found can be found with an investment of some time and research.
